UNISA Internship Programme – Call for Applications – Apply Before 10 August 2025

The University of South Africa (UNISA) is inviting qualified graduates to apply for its Internship Programme, commencing 01 September 2025. This opportunity is intended for unemployed South African citizens who have completed a UNISA qualification equivalent to NQF Level 6 or higher and who possess no prior formal work experience in their field of study.

This 12-month internship programme offers a unique platform for graduates to gain valuable experience and exposure in a professional environment. Successful applicants will receive a stipend of R120,925.00 per annum.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

    • Be a South African citizen under the age of 35.
    • Have completed a UNISA qualification at NQF Level 6 or above.
    • Have no prior formal employment in their field of study.
  • Not have been previously employed at UNISA or any other institution in a similar internship or graduate programme.
  • Submit applications for each position separately if applying for multiple roles.
  • Ensure that the position reference number and UNISA student number are accurately indicated on the application portal.
