The UCL School of Management
Located in Canary Wharf—London’s financial district—the UCL School of Management offers a research-intensive environment in close proximity to global business leaders and innovators. The School comprises five academic groups: Strategy & Entrepreneurship, Organisations & Innovation, Operations & Technology, Marketing & Analytics, and Finance, Accounting & Economics.
The Strategy & Entrepreneurship Group focuses on understanding how technological advances and cultural shifts are reshaping organizations, industries, and markets. Faculty research spans a wide array of themes, including artificial intelligence, big data, machine learning, platform ecosystems, decentralized organizations, innovation, learning, interorganizational relationships, corporate and entrepreneurial strategy, social innovation, and the information environment.
The School encourages cross-disciplinary collaboration and supports faculty with generous research funding and minimal teaching loads.
Position Details and Qualifications
Applicants should possess a robust research track record and demonstrate the potential to publish work of international significance in the fields of strategy and entrepreneurship. Successful candidates will be expected to contribute to the School’s undergraduate (BSc) and postgraduate (MSc) teaching programmes. The School is currently expanding its academic offerings, including new programmes in international business, creating further opportunities for candidates to integrate research with teaching.
While applications are welcome from all subfields of strategy and entrepreneurship, the School particularly encourages those with expertise in international business or those interested in teaching related subjects. Candidates must hold a PhD in a relevant discipline or be close to completion at the time of application.
