Police Rescue 10 People From a Baby Factory in Lagos State

According to the Lagos State Police Command, ten people were saved from a baby factory in the state’s Ijegun neighborhood.

Along with two other people, Orie Ruth, 23, and Ujunwa Ifeanyi, 18, the police also detained the primary suspect, Mariam Vincent, 35.

This was revealed on Monday by CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the state’s Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO).

According to him, police received a tip on Saturday, which led to the discovery of the baby factory.

According to the police spokesperson, ten victims were rescued, including three children and seven adult women.

He also revealed that the kids were two, five, and seven years old.

Precious (24), Magdalene (25), Adaobi (23), Princess (22), Ifeanyi (25), and Amaka (26), were among the adult victims.

Destiny (7), Miracle (5), and Success (2) are the children they rescued.

According to Hundeyin, all of the rescued people are currently receiving the support and care they need.

The police spokesperson claims that when the suspects were questioned, they acknowledged that they had abducted victims from various locations throughout the state in order to operate the baby factory.

According to Hundeyin, the suspect will be arraigned and the investigation is still ongoing.
