In Lagos State’s Idimu neighborhood, the dead remains of two men, one of whom was headless, were found.
The remains of the men were found on Oladun Street on Sunday morning, despite reports that they were slain on Saturday night.
According to reports, the finding caused fear among the locals, who gathered to watch the graphic scene.
As of the time of writing, the name of the decapitated victim was still unknown, although locals recognized one of the victims as Baba Oja.
According to local resident Lanre Ajao, Baba Oja was well-known for always mingling with a group of youngsters who chased after fancy automobiles in order to extort money from the drivers outside the Council bus stop.
Locals suggested that the murders could have been connected to a cult.
It was also revealed that a police squad had been to the area to remove the victims’ corpses.
CSP Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), was unavailable for comment.
