Ten villagers from three isolated communities in Kaduna State’s Kajuru Local Government Area have been kidnapped by suspected bandits.
Six people were abducted when a group of armed bandits broke into the Unguwan Yashi-Maraban Kajuru community early on Wednesday, March 12, 2025, at around two in the morning.
God-Dream Ladan, Lady God-Dream, Philip Mudakas, Mercy Philip, Bitrus Philip, and Gmen Philip were among those kidnapped.
In Makyali village, bandits overran the area, resulting in two people being shot and presently receiving treatment at Maraban Kajuru Hospital.
In the village, two women, Rahina Yahaya and Zulai Yahaya, were also abducted.
Abdullahi and Ubale Yahaya were named as the injured victims.
The same bandits reportedly relocated to Ungwan Mudi Doka.
